The founder and CEO of CURLS Beauty Brands, one of the foremost black hair care brands in North America, author of the memoir “Against All Odds: From the Projects to the Penthouse” and star of “Mind Your Business with Mahisha” on the OWN network, had to overcome a deck so stacked against her. She successfully managed to beat the odds and went on to become of the top Beauty Moguls in the Hair Care industry.
For the last 20 years, Dellinger and her team rolled out innovative products, launched successful brand after brand in over 200,000 “big box” stores like Target, CVS, Walmart, Rite Aid, CVS, Walgreens, Bed, Bath & Beyond, & Sally Beauty and expanded into the salon channel of distribution. And today, in addition to her substantial beauty business, Dellinger has decided to expand into women’s apparel and lingerie.
As a loving wife and dedicated mother of 4, Dellinger woke up one day and realized that she and her loving partner focused a substantial amount of their day to day lives focusing on their careers and shuffling their 4 kids to and from school, soccer, piano, camp, dance, training…you name it!
One day this brilliant mother decided to have a little fun. She took her husband’s favorite unmentionables & sprayed them with the scent of his favorite dessert, caramel. xScentuals was born!
